Message	But when I had a 5SP for my other 16 or so years of driving, I would just put the clutch in and leave it and downshift as I slow down. I dont use engine breaking for normal stoplights and such, but its a good idea to get into the habit of have the shifter in the appropriate gear all the time if you need to pop out the clutch and go. _________________________________________
